Self-care Instructions for Flu or Flu-like Illness

There is currently 0 seasonal flu vaccines available. There are 0 doses of H1N1 nasal spray available to health care providers.

H1N1 nasal spray is a live vaccine and is limited to certain groups. Health care providers without contraindications may receive it when it is available.

Anyone with health conditions that makes them susceptible to flu should also check with your primary care giver for vaccine availability and recommendations regarding its appropriateness for your health status.

Please check this page and the schedules IMMEDIATELY BEFORE going to a clinic. Cancellations are unavoidable and will occur on short notice. For example, a flu clinic scheduled to start at 1pm may be cancelled as late as 11:00-11:30am. We are sorry for the inconvenience but the vaccine supply is beyond our control.

IUPUI ID will be required to receive a free vaccine.

Patients are not seen from 12 noon to 1pm.

9:00am – 5:00pm

Appointments can still be made during the lunch hour.


Construction Update: There is temporary fencing and concrete barricades on 3 sides of the building due to the construction of the new Glick building. The north door is the only way to enter IUPUI Health Services. The north door is between Coleman and the Riley Outpatient garage.

The clinic now provides nursing services from 12 - 1pm daily.

Nursing services: PPD reading and administration, immunizations and ADD questionnaires. No provider visits or prescriptions writen from 12-1.

Appointments and cancellations may not be made via e-mail. Please call IUPUI Health Services at (317) 274-8214 to make or cancel an appointment.

 

Mission Statement

The mission of IUPUI Health Services is to provide high quality, low cost health care services to students, faculty, and staff at IUPUI as well as to other appropriate individuals on the IUPUI campus, to provide an educational or training site for healthcare students and residents, and to conduct research and to assist other departments of the University in performing research.

IUPUI Health Services successfully completed a review of services by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care in June 2007. We are proud to be accredited for the maximum 3 year period.
