Director
Dr. Stephen Wintermeyer, MD, MPH
Dr. Stephen Wintermeyer is the Director of IUPUI Health Services. He has been Medical Director from 1996 to 2002 and Director since 2002. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Occupational Medicine at IU School of Medicine. Dr. Wintermeyer received his MD from Harvard Medical School and his MPH from the University of California, Berkeley. He has completed an Internal Medicine residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and an Occupational Medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He also completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UCSF. He is Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Occupational Medicine. In additional to his administrative role, Dr. Wintermeyer sees patients at IUPUI Health Services and attends in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at several IUSM affiliated hospitals.

Nurse Manager
Carla Neuhausel, RN
Carla Neuhausel is the Nurse Manager of IUPUI Health Services. She has been a nurse for 15 years and employed with the University for 8 years. She graduated from Indiana University School of Nursing’s BSN program. Her background in nursing prior to Student and Occupational Health consisted of orthopedics, home health, and public health experience. Carla has a husband and one daughter. Her interests include camping, swimming, softball, gardening. She loves to be outdoors when the weather permits. Her favorite seasons are spring and summer.

Administrator
Doris A. Mays, MHA
Doris A. Mays is the Administrator for IUPUI Health Services. Prior to joining IUPUI Health Services in 2002 she served as Director /Practice Manager for IUMG Primary Care. She received her Masters in Health/Hospital Administration from Xavier University, Cincinnati and also has a Masters in Audiology from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Mays received her BS degree from Syracuse University. Prior to coming to Indianapolis in 1996, she held various positions in health care at Ohio State University, Children’s Medical Center in Dayton Ohio, and with Blue Cross/University Cincinnati Health Plan.

Nurse Practitioner
Lee Bernard, MSN, MPH
Lee has several years experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner with experience in family practice, urgent care, orthopedics, occupational health, surgery and recovery. She obtained her nursing and public health degrees from IUPUI. She is nationally certified as an adult nurse practitioner, a college health nurse and a health education specialist. She sees patients all but 3 half-days per week. She is the wellness coordinator for the clinic and chairs the IUPUI Wellness Coalition.

Staff Physician
Sarah Davidson, MD
Dr. Sarah Davidson is a part-time physician at IUPUI Health Services. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at IU School of Medicine and practices Internal Medicine with the IU Medical Group. Dr. Davidson received her MD from Yale School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Barnes Hospital at Washington University School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Davidson has a strong interest in College Health and while in St. Louis, she worked at Washington University Health and Counseling Services.

Administrative Secretary
Angela
Angela is an Administrative Secretary and has been on staff since July 2003. She is currently a student at IUPUI seeking a degree in communications. Angela coordinates the Doctor’s/Nurse Practitioner’s office visits along with travel patient visits for immunizations. Angela handles all walk-in appointments for student and Workman’s Comp visits.

Barbara
Barbara joined our staff in September 2006. She has been employed by IU since 1994. Prior to that she worked for a physician in Jacksonville, Fl. Barbara has 3 grandchildren and enjoys working in her yard and needlework.

Clinical Clerk
Susan
Susan is the Clinical Clerk and is primarily responsible for filing, and purging medical records. She also provides coverage for the back desk area. Susan has been employed in the clinic since April 2002. She moved to her current position in March 2003 from the back desk area. Susan’s previous experience included providing office and facility support within a school.

Julie helps at the front and back desks. She enjoys her grandchild, camping and motorcycling. |
