If you have a short question about your healthcare status, you may contact an IUPUI Health Services nurse at askanurse. A nurse will respond to your questions via e-mail or phone within 3 business days. If you are in need of immediate assistance, contact IUPUI Health Services by phone at (317) 274-8214. Please contact the clinic by telephone to request an appointment.

Immunizations or Records

See Student Services or Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for copies of records. Requests for immunization records or appointments will not accepted via this route.

Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Physician and nurse practitioner visits are not available between noon and 1:00pm each day. Prescriptions may not be written between 12pm & 1pm when the providers take lunch. Routine visits are scheduled every half-hour with the last visit at 4:00pm For more information, see Appointments below.

Appointments

Students are are strongly encouraged to make appointments, but walk-ins will be accommodated if possible. Same-day appointments are usually available if an appointment is requested in the morning. The last appointment of the day is at 4:00pm

Employees seeking care for work-related injuries or illnesses may visit the clinic on a walk-in basis for the initial appointment. Follow-up appointments are scheduled in advance.

Please understand that the clinic schedule often runs late because employees and students with occupational concerns are accomodated on a walk-in basis. Your patience is appreciated.

Appointments and cancellations may not be made via e-mail. You must call IUPUI Health Services at 274-8214 to make or cancel an appointment.

The clinic will be closed for the following university holidays:

Location
Constuction is on-going on the clinic and in front of it. Only the north doors may be used to enter the clinic. East doors are open for students with classes in the building.

IUPUI Health Services is located on the west side of the IUPUI campus at 1140 W. Michigan Street. IUPUI Health Services is on the first floor of Coleman Hall. Coleman Hall appears as "CF" on the IUPUI Campus Map and is located between Ball Residence Hall and Long Hospital.

Parking

Garage tickets will be validated for students with an appointment with the one of the providers. Employees are expected to utilize their university parking pass.

"A" permit spaces are available across Michigan Street in the lot west of the Dental School. A spaces are also available in the Union Building Lot.

"B" spaces are also available in the lot west of the Dental School, in the lot west of the Campus Police building (west side of Ball Residence Hall), and in the Union Building lot.

"E" spaces are located in lots next to the Dental School and west of the Union Building.

A parking garage is south of Coleman Hall—the Riley Outpatient garage. It is accessed from West Drive (north of Michigan Street and south of Riley Hospital). Garage tickets will be validated with an appointment with the nurse practitioner or one of the doctors.

Transportation

The IUPUI campus shuttle has three main routes. The campus route (maroon) includes 3 stops close to Coleman Hall (west campus). They are at Ball Residence Hall, the Riley Outpatient Center, and at the corner of Michigan Street and Barnhill Drive.

The Clarian People Mover (monorail) stop is at the Van Nuys Medical Science Building (MS). A covered walkway leads you from MS into Riley Hospital, which is close to the clinic.
